The General Dental Council has closed its investigation into our clients’ fitness to practise, with no further action.

Our client, A, faced multiple allegations of competence and probity in a case that was ongoing for a number of years.

Speaking about the case, fitness to practise defence barrister Catherine, who represented A, commented:

“Some allegations were accepted, but the vast majority denied however because this client instructed us early and worked with us throughout, they were able to demonstrate an extensive period of reflection and remediation which made a big difference to the outcome and the GDC closed the case with no further action.”

A, speaking at the conclusion of their case, said:

“Catherine is an outstanding barrister who provided unwavering support and expert legal representation during a difficult regulatory investigation. Her professionalism, empathy, and deep knowledge made an incredibly stressful process more manageable. She guided me through each step methodically, ensuring I could reflect on my case effectively. Through her dedication and hard work, the case was successfully resolved with no action taken by the regulator. I am immensely grateful for her assistance and highly recommend her services.”
